Denver, CO

Kayla and I spent a week in Denver, CO on a mission trip to help with home improvement of needy families and helping the elderly. It was an amazing experience and we got to see some beautiful scenery as well!

Wii Fit

After calling a dozen stores, we went online to find that a local retailer had limited quantity (2) on the Wii Fit and drove over and there was one remaining when we got there. Now I have no excuse to not be fit. It's an amazing piece of technology!

Bad weather

Watching a movie, nice weather outside and we get a tornado warning out of the blue. Here's some of the damage. Everyone is safe, but there will be some heavy cleanup. My parents lost power (snapped power line from fallen tree) and they had a sleep-over with us (the dogs loved that!)

Why harringg?

Why harringg? At work, we were on Groupwise for email and my address was harringg@...gov, first seven letters of our last name and our first initial. We recently switched to Outlook and now use firstname.lastname and that seems boring.

I liked the handle "harringg", so there you go. That's where harringg comes from. :-)

Stay off the sidwalks!

Kayla recently turned 14 and had her last day of school yesterday. So what to do on your first day off? Have mom take you to get your drivers learners permit!

Congrats Kayla, you've added more grey hair to dad! :-)
